FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE McGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME OF WESTLAKE, 25620 CENTER RIDGE ROAD (WEST OF COLUMBIA) THURSDAY 1-7 PM. Terry, affectionately known as “Doc Terry,” was a lifelong resident of Rocky River, a proud graduate of St. Christopher School, St. Ignatius High School, St. Bonaventure University, and Case Western Reserve Dental School. Terry practiced dentistry for over 30 years. He considered his patients and staff as part of his extended family and treated them accordingly. Terry was a member of the American Dental Association, the Cleveland Dental Society, the Midwest Implant Institute and was an associate fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Terry was truly a man for others and generously donated his time and efforts to many causes. While his family always came first, Terry’s generosity extended beyond family as he made friends everywhere he went and loved to help others in any way he could. He was a proponent of Catholic education and actively volunteered in his children’s schools. He particularly enjoyed feeding the homeless through the Labre program at St. Ignatius High School and donating his time to the Magnificat High School Fathers’ Club. Terry was actively engaged in the Rocky River community as a member of the St. Christopher Athletic Association and as a patron of numerous civic organizations. He coached countless numbers of youth through CYO sports, Rocky River Little League, and various travel organizations. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Terry’s name to the Anna Weitz Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Research at 700 Locust St. #195, Dubuque, IA 52001; Magnificat High School at 20770 Hilliard Blvd., Rocky River, OH 44116; or St. Ignatius High School at 1911 W. 30th St., Cleveland, OH 44113.
