Obituary for DANIEL M. BEST

DANIEL MATTHEW BEST age 49. Born December 7th, 1968 in Pittsburgh, PA died November 1, 2018. Proud graduate of THE University of Dayton, Class of ‘91. Dedicated his life to the American people with an unparalleled passion to make health care more affordable to all. He most recently served as the Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Health and Human Services for Drug Pricing Reform. Prior to that, Dan was the V.P. of Industry Relations- Medicare at CVS Caremark Corporation; Universal American, Member Health, & Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Survived by loving wife of 25 years Lisa Campbell Best, proud father of Jake, Nick, and Matt. Son of Ted and Marilyn Best, brother of Ted (Bryn), Michael, Susan Cole, Triplet of Tim (Kristen), Lori (Paul) Yeager. Son-in-law of Anne and the late Chris Campbell. Brother-in-law of Chris (Anne) Campbell, Marty Campbell, Mike (Val) Campbell, Karen (Jay) Augenstein, Julie (Jim) Grunenwald. Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a friend to all. Family will receive friends at the McGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME OF WESTLAKE, 25620 Center Ridge Rd. (West of Columbia Rd.) THURSDAY Nov. 8th from 1 - 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Friday Nov. 9th , St. Raphael’s Church, 525 Dover Center Road Bay Village, Ohio 44140. Interment Private.
