Obituary for ROBERT ALLEN KMIECIK

Robert Allen Kmiecik has left this earth and gone to heaven at the age of 65. He was born on December 24, 1952 (the day before Christmas) and passed away March 31, 2018 (the day before Easter). He will be deeply missed by Carol, his wife of 36 years, his daughters Sara and Grace and his son-in-law Kevin.

Bob has rejoined his parents Rosemary and Walter. Born in Cleveland, he attended the School of Theatre and Dance at Kent State University. Since then he showed a strong passion for acting, directing and attending theater. He performed in both Cleveland and Chicago and directed at Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater, Brecksville Little Theatre, Aurora Community Theatre, Chagrin Valley Little Theatre and Western Reserve Playhouse. He was also a successful sales rep for Hoshizaki America, Inc.

Bob also enjoyed singing throughout his life. He was a member of the Singers' Club of Cleveland for 22 years. During that time, he made many life-long friendships.

Bob loved collecting antiques and comic books. He would love traveling often to Chicago and New York City. He was a die-hard Indians fan and would attend multiple games with his family each season. Bob's wife Carol thought he was the most handsome man in the world.

Bob was a devout Catholic and had a strong faith in God. We have no doubt that he has joined loved ones that have gone before him. His smile, gentleness and love of life will be what his family will always keep with them.

We will honor Bob with a Funeral Mass at St. Luke Church, 1212 Bunts Rd. Lakewood, OH 44107, at 10:00 am on Friday, April 6, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Near West Theatre - http://www.nearwesttheatre.org/donate or the Singers Club of Cleveland - http://www.singersclub.org/support.html
