Obituary for CARL T. KRAMER

CARL T. KRAMER age 88, Carl was born on June 6, 1929 in Cleveland, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents Jane (nee Bender) and Carl L. Kramer; former husband of Nanette J.; dear father to John (deceased), Joan Massimei (Ralph), James Kramer, and Judith Kramer; step-father to Barbara Rethas; loving grandfather of Maria, Rita Marie (Tinh), Christina, and Ralph; cherished great-grandfather of Isabella and Liam; brother of Richard (deceased)(Diane), Rita Jane (deceased), William (deceased) (DeeDee), and Robert (deceased) (Charlotte). He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He attended Manlius School, Dyke and Spencerian College and John Carroll University. Carl T. Kramer died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017 in the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky where he had been a resident since October 2005 and where he was awarded Sportsman of the Year in 2007 at the age of 78. He worked 10-1/2 years in the accounting Dept. at the Cleveland Foundry, Ford Motor Company. A natural salesman, he was a realtor for 45 years. He was a member of the American Legion and Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, serving as an Advocate, and Raffle Chairman, and Grand Knight. Funeral Mass, St. Luke Church (Clifton Blvd. and Bunts Rd., Lakewood), Saturday Nov. 11th at 10:30 am. Interment St. Mary of the Falls Cemetery. Friends May Call at the McGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME OF LAKEWOOD, 14133 Detroit Ave., FRIDAY from 4-8 pm and SATURDAY morning from 9-10 am. Family suggests memorial contributions to the Museum at the Ohio Veterans Home, 3416 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, OH 44870.
